WHO WE ARE
At SIO, movement is our outlet. We’ve created a space where you can step away from the outside world and reconnect with your body, your strength, and your progress. Movement should feel supportive, empowering, and something you look forward to — not something you have to force.
Our mission is to create an environment where people can show up for themselves, move with intention, build strength, and stay consistent.
MEET THE FOUNDER
SARAH ELISIO
Founder & Instructor
Movement has always been my outlet. From stepping into a dance studio at four years old to competing for over 15 years, movement became where I felt most grounded, focused, and connected. Dance taught me discipline, presence, and the power of community—values that carried me across international stages in Germany and Prague and later to the Ryerson Competitive Dance Team.
In 2020, I discovered strength training and fell in love with the structure, progression, and confidence it builds, leading me to complete my Personal Training certification through CanFitPro. Soon after, Pilates and barre became essential to my practice, allowing me to blend my background in dance with intentional, strength-based movement.
I later completed my training in STOTT Reformer Pilates and Barre, and from that journey, SIO ATHLETIC STUDIOS was born. SIO is a reflection of everything I value in movement: intention, consistency, and community. My goal is to create a space where people can move with confidence, feel supported, and build strength in a way that’s sustainable and empowering—no matter where they’re starting from.
Let’s move together.
— Sarah
